A gallery built around line quality, clarity, and healed-readability
This collection shows the range we work in: fine line, blackwork, dotwork, minimal colour accents, and carefully chosen placements that follow anatomy. You’ll see calm, controlled composition decisions—negative space, consistent spacing, and line weight choices that aim to age cleanly. If you’d like a piece in a similar direction, mention the closest reference in your consultation request and we’ll guide the brief from there.
What you’ll notice
Clean contour decisions, controlled shading, and deliberate spacing. The goal is a piece that reads at a glance and still holds structure as pigment settles.
Studio standard
Hygiene and setup are treated as part of craft: barrier protection, tidy stations, and single-use consumables for critical items.
How to use this gallery
Pick one to three pieces that feel close to your idea and note what you like: line weight, shading approach, density, and placement. That level of detail makes the consultation sharper than vague “similar to this” references. If you’re unsure, describe the mood and size and we’ll suggest an approach that fits skin movement and long-term contrast.
Fine line and negative space
Thin doesn’t mean fragile. The pieces here show where we thicken a contour or open space so the design stays readable after healing.
Blackwork, dotwork, and density
Saturation and texture are planned around how the body moves. You’ll see deliberate gradients and spacing that keeps heavy areas from turning into a single dark block.
Piercing placement and jewellery fit
If you’re browsing piercings, focus on jewellery sizing and position. Comfort-first placement matters as much as the aesthetic.
Gallery selection
The images below are curated to show a spread of styles and placements without leaning on “before/after” framing. Use them as reference points for linework, contrast, and composition. For precise availability and pricing, send a consultation request with your preferred direction and approximate size.
Fine line botanical
Deliberate negative space and slightly reinforced contours for healed readability.
Blackwork geometry
Solid saturation with clean edges and spacing that keeps forms distinct.
Dotwork ornamental
Granular gradients built from consistent dot density for a soft transition.
Minimal colour accent
Restrained colour placement to keep contrast clean and avoid muddy blending.
Fine line script
Letter spacing and stroke weight tuned for long-term legibility.
Piercing and jewellery fit
Comfort-first placement and sizing chosen to allow for early swelling.
A note on healed results and photo lighting
Photos can exaggerate contrast because of lighting, skin moisture, and camera processing. In consultation, we’ll explain what typically softens during healing: fine gradients, micro-lines, and dense black areas. If you’re aiming for extremely thin linework, we’ll discuss where a slight reinforcement may protect longevity without changing the look. For piercings, we focus on realistic healing timelines and simple care instructions rather than long product lists.
If you want recommendations, send a short brief describing the subject, approximate size in centimetres, placement, and whether you prefer crisp contrast or subtle texture. That information is enough for us to propose an artist match and a sensible session plan.
